International Conference on Neurorehabilitation 2024

#Biofeedback

DART hosted an extremely popular special session dedicated to the #StimuLOOP project, a large consortium project with #ETH Zurich, #University or Zurich, #University Hospital Zurich, and #Children’s Hospital Zurich about personalized biofeedback. Aileen Naef, Mathieu Berthet, Luca Nastasi, and Saskia Neumann each presented aspects of designing personalized biofeedback to optimise effort, engagement, and dose on an individual basis. Saskia presented the early development of DART’s mobile alert and biofeedback platform that can be rapidly tailored to individual movement deficits.

#AI for Healthcare

Chris Awai presented a series of topics in the AI and Computational Methods track. This included an overview on #HealthCore, the DART-developed modular software ecosystem to collect high-density and high-fidelity data during routine neurorehabilitation. He also presented some collaborative work between DART and the ETH Medical Data Science group on contrastive-learning-based approaches for gait deficit identification and an AI-based clinical decision support system for gait treatment target selection.

The DART delegation comes home with great memories, new friends, budding collaborations, and full of new ideas to keep advancing the field. We are looking forward to #ICNR2026!
