The Neuronutrition research group will be presenting their work at the 15th Pangborn Sensory Science Symposium 2023, held in Nantes, France. Pangborn is a conference that showcases the research of fundamental and applied sensory and consumer scientists. The Neuronutrition group will be presenting two works, an oral presentation by Dr Catherine Graham on taste deficits in neurological cohorts, and how this influences food choice, and a poster by Dr Maria Pina Concas, of the association between sweet food liking and the Regulator of G-Protein Signalling 9 (RGS9) gene. Both works are part of an international collaboration between Lake Lucerne Institute, Switzerland and Trieste University, Italy. These works are part of the wider research aim to extend knowledge of the pathology of gustatory and olfactory deficits.
